TERMS & CONDITIONS OF TRADING

Payment

Eden accepts most credit and debit cards and can take payment details over the telephone or on-line via our user-friendly on-line shop checkout facility.

Cheques

Eden has the facility to clear cheques with our credit clearing system using Transax. If for any reason Transax refuse to accept your cheque we will wait for bank clearance before your goods are dispatched.

Security

Security is a prime concern for us at Eden Shop Equipment and the credit, debit card payment system is on a SECURE SERVER. If paying by card, when you reach the secure payment window (where you your enter card details) you will see the padlock symbol on the screen.

Delivery (UK Mainland)

This is usually a 1 to 2 day service, however we will endeavour to dispatch it the same day for next working day delivery. During busy periods we cannot guarantee to always achieve this. Goods are not dispatched or delivered on Saturdays or bank holidays as we usually close for business during this time. See Christmas holiday closure periods.

Delivary (Busy Periods)

Between October and December.

This is usually a 1 to 2 day service; however during this busy time delivery times, have changed to a 3 to 4 day service. Goods are not dispatched or delivered on Saturdays or bank holidays as we usually close for business during this time.

Delivery Charges: England, Wales, & Scotland (Excluding Highlands & Islands).

Our carriage charge by road carrier service is 10% of the order value or £10.00 whichever is the greater. A minimum carriage charge of £10.00 will apply on all small orders unless we are able to dispatch it cheaper by post.
Example, up to £160.00 of goods = £16.00 carriage. £180 of goods = £18.00 carriage. £200 of goods = £20 carriage. Carriage is subject to V.A.T.

Deliveries to Scottish Highlands (mainland)

2-3 DAY DELIVERY PERIOD WILL APPLY. All delivery charges for Scottish Highlands can be confirmed at time of order by calling our sales team for a quotation. A standard 10% carriage charge will apply for all products on the website. Eden reserves the right to contact customers should an additional carriage charge apply.

Exceptions to all carriage prices

There are some items (such as Glass Cabinets, Slatwall and Counters) that require special transport facilities and therefore carriage must be quoted separately. A standard 10% carriage charge will apply for all products on the website. Eden reserves the right to contact customers should an additional carriage charge apply for heavier goods items. Delivery personnel will need assistance to off-load these items due to weight restrictions.

Delivery to other areas and timed deliveries

Please contact us to quote for delivery overseas. Timed deliveries can be organised and special AM services, however additional delivery charges will apply. Please call us for a quotation.

Terms & Conditions

Payment will be required before any goods are dispatched.

All goods remain the property of Eden Shop Equipment Ltd until paid for in full.

Eden reserves the right to alter product prices, carriage prices and specifications and materials without notice.

Whilst every effort will be made to meet delivery time/dates, Eden does not accept liability for the consequences of any delay beyond our company’s control.

Damaged goods / incorrect deliveries should be notified within 4 days of receipt of goods. Failure to do this will jeopardise any subsequent claim.

Eden is happy to accept items for return providing they are in their original packaging. A 15% handling charge will be levied on all returned goods to cover our administration costs.

Eden endeavour to keep most items in stock; however it is possible that some items may be out of stock or temporarily unavailable. Should this situation arise, we will always inform our customers.

Eden reserve the right to refuse an order should arrangements for payment be delayed or arrangements for delivery are not accepted.

All prices on this in our on-line shop are subject to V.A.T and carriage is also subject to V.A.T.
